Showcase 2018

WCA International Showcase 2018 - Sunday, Jan 28, 2018 - 1pm-5pm

EVENT CAPACITY IS NOW FULL! Thank you for all the interest!

Grab our passport at the door and travel the world.

Showcase Booths will include the following

Canada, Ecuador, England, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kusafiri, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa, Switzerland, the USA and Zimbabwe.

Special entertainment will include

A performance by members of the SFU Youth Pipe Band
A performance of New Zealand's Haka Dance, an ancient Maori war dance traditionally used on the battlefield, as well as when groups came together in peace.

All family members and friends welcome (all participants, adult and youth must pay the event fee). This is a very unique event and is going to be AMAZING!

WCA International Showcase Country Booth Volunteers Needed

Do you like to travel and explore other cultures? Share your passion for travel, other cultures and all things international with others at the WCA International Showcase! We are looking for volunteers to run booths about different countries with information about their choosen country and an activity and either a craft or food sample from that country. All volunteers will receive an event crest.

  • When: Sunday, January 28th, 2018 from 1 to 5 pm
  • Where: Croatian Cultural Centre, 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver
  • Who: Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Rangers & Adults
  • Cost: 2 free event tickets per booth. Additional volunteers pay the $15 per participant fee

Volunteers are working hard to refurbish our Nature house, new paint, new floor and new displays. We will be closed until after the new year and have a grand on Thinking Day.

All the fun of Camp Olave with an arts flair! For girls born in or before 2010. Come as a single, with some friends or as a patrol with your Guider.

Guiders are needed!! Opportunities for QMs, Site Coordinators, Patrol Guiders, Program presenters etc. Some Core Staff will arrive on July 14.
